The Office manages the Agreement between the Archdiocese and Refugees and Citizen Immigration Canada (IRCC): it serves as a bridge between sponsors and the government. The Agency examines files and processes applications. The office can help you learn more about relocation through an e-newsletter and online forum, monthly seminars and workshops. The Office for Refugees does not sign or fund any resettlement. In addition, the office collaborates with parishes, religious orders and Catholic institutions in the archdiocese so that they can participate in this reward program. Many organizations have signed sponsorship agreements with the Government of Canada to help foreign refugees relocate to Canada. They don`t have to be Catholic or connected to the Church to get their help.
